how can any right minded individual think it's logical to only be able to use the application I'd you set up using the devices IP addres which can only be found on the device if you have the original remote control to access the menu. iop99ilThis error makes the application totally useless, I don't normally leave reviews however this one deserves a write up. Also I have all my connections active and the application and still get a notification that the wireless can't connect.

The Roku app is good and helpful. Ever since I've purchased a Roku TV, it's been very handy (with the addition that I can also use it as a remote). I also have the option to watch movies or shows on my phone instead of the TV, which I'd say is very nice to have as a feature. Although there is an issue with it. The last time I used it it didn't work properly and gave me a black screen no matter how many times I tried again. That's why I give it four stars.

Works some of the time but frequently stops working out of nowhere. The app will turn the TV on once when it does and then won't connect. The countdown will get to 0 and say you need to check the connection of both the devices. Both will be connected to wifi. After the device turns on the device initially it will not turn it on or off again. Deleting and reinstalling the app won't help. Time seems to be the only solution. **UPDATE JAN 1 - MARCH 20 2025** still won't connect but Sonos will 🙄
