It is used to be a good news app, pulling in articles from different sources. However, being constantly told to sign up to new news notifications with a screen pop-up when you open every new article is so frustrating. Although some people will have probably signed up for constant news notifications, I couldn't think of anything worse, I'll check the news when I feel it's a suitable time. Because my I can live without my phone, because it isn't the be-all and end-all of my life.

Ever since the recent update and name/logo change this app no longer works on my phone. Everytime I click on any news story it opens up and then immediately closes with a message saying there is a problem and the app will restart which it does but only to close again with the same message when I try to open any news story. Such a pity as I used to really like this app and used it daily. 😢

OK 'news' app, gathering news from a variety of sources. Now readable in landscape. However as a consequence a lot of rubbish and poor reporting standards. 'My News' section is a misnomer as you have no choice of what it contains. No ability to delete topics of news you don't want. BBC app now far superior in that you have the autonomy to choose the content and format.
