Love mixcloud. But it has weird intermittent behaviour stopping play when I open some other apps on android. For example, mixcloud always stops playing when I open Simplenote. Or if I've left the play list detail page showing, and the phone locks, when I unlock it stops playing. But, for instance, if I have youtube or podcast apps in front, the play keeps going. Otherwise, love hearing my favourite DJs.

A bug-ridden barely maintained app. Streams stop playing for no reason. Shows then can't be restarted because the app thinks you've exceeded the play limit. App is unresponsive when connected to Chromecast, no way to spell search results etc. 2025 edit: years have passed and no improvements. More concerning, recently loads of 5* reviews have appeared. Seriously looks like fake reviews. All saying the same and saying nothing. And all liked by multiple people. This is not a 4.5* app.

What was a great app and used daily. I'm finding it is dropping out, oops error etc, etc and just becoming a nightmare with issues these days. As a DJ I used it all the time, upload my mixes, paid every month for the pro version, but in recent days cancelled the subscription and moved over to Soundcloud. The app seems to be slowly loosing its stake in the market as one of the best music, DJ apps, no one seems to care or doing anything about it. Shame really š
